Trump’s mission is to end the USA’s predatory and violent global policies. Trump must return the Republic and put an end to the Empire. The past 34 years of American foreign policy have left millions dead and tens of millions homeless. This evil must end.
Perhaps this is my subjective perspective, but the Trump event to me signifies the triumph of barbarism, irrationality, and amorality. I do not see an elevated vision of America, but a degraded one of the lowest common denominator, a true Idiocracy, a postmodern “conservatism” which actually conserves nothing other than the simulation of what used to mean something, all for the entertainment of a rapidly devolving civilization entranced by the spectacle of conflict. Not a return to the warrior spirit, but a kind of bullying spirit that makes itself feel higher than it is by singling out what is weaker. Not the image of a proud masculinity that defends the homeland, but a deeply insecure masculinity that needs the opposition to “woke” to anchor its sense of identity, so attached to a resentful moralistic vision that it needs “feminazi” tears to feel good about itself. As Trump would put it: Sad. There are indeed two forks in the road, but they both lead to the same dismal place, because we are unable to come up with actual solutions to our miserable situation. To be clear, Democrat fake establishment moralism isn’t a solution either.
